WHAT IS Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), to India
The Indian ETA visa allows the visitors to make an application for the tourist visa online without going to the authorized consular office. It allows the vacationers to stay in India for an interval of 2 months with no issues. The Indian Government has made the procedure of applying for the tourist’s visa online simple, but it gets the following requirements that the tourists need to fulfill;
The Indian ETA Visa is valid for only 60 days, the tourists willing to extend their stay must apply for a proper visa.
The tourists can opt for different e-Visas with respect to the reason for their travel (for example e-Tourist Visa, e-Medical Visa, e-Business Visa).
The tourists trying to get the visa must have at least six months passport validity (from the estimated date of arrival) along with 2 empty pages.
The travelers can enter the country twice using the e-Visa.
Tourists must carry other documents that prove their identity.
The tourists from certain countries like Pakistan cannot apply for the ETA.
Travelers can enter India from the different airports (25) and 3 seaports.

Trying to get an Indian ETA Visa is very straightforward and easy. It requires just 3 easy steps:
1. The Applicant will be required to fill out an Application form with their bio-data and other information on the application form Website. A passport photograph with a white background will be published to the portal along with a copy of the Applicants International Passport displaying the Applicants Photograph and Details. However, requirements may be different with respect to the reason for visit i.e. an e-Medical Visa will demand a copy of the letter from a healthcare facility concerned in India on its letterhead, for an e-Business Visa, a duplicate of your business card will be needed.
2. After filling in the application the second step will be for the Applicant to pay for the ETA Visa online, it is usually advisable for payment to be produced 4 days prior to the expected day of travel and a maximum of 120 days before expected departure date. Payments through BANK CARDS are accepted, Accepted Credit cards include; Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
3. After payments are created, the Applicant will be required to wait for some time while the ETA Visa Application is being Processed and Verified for bad spellings and invalid Details. When the application form has been approved, the applicant will be sent a contact confirming the Status of his Application. The Approval is usually to be printed out and proven to officials at the point of departure.
